Another session of the Optimal Health for Women Project was held at Ebenezer Primary School II, Ojokoro, Lagos, on the 12th of October 2022. Men and women members of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school were in attendance at the cancer prevention education session led by Dr. Ola. In that interesting session, the teachers asked lots of interesting questions and enlivened the discussions with their co-creative learning approach to the session.

The staff members were also introduced to the HPV vaccine for the prevention of cervical and other HPV-related cancers as part of the project’s goals. All female participants were subsequently offered cancer screening and counseling services, and those needing cryotherapy were advised to visit our center for the procedure.

Furthermore, those who showed interest in registering their wards for HPV vaccination were attended to and recorded for further consultation.
