We are pleased to announce that our 2023 World Cancer Day Symposium will be held on February 2, 2023, between 5 and 6:30 p.m.
The event, titled “The Role of Vaccines in Cancer Prevention: Thoughts and Experiences on Accessibility and Uptake of the HPV Vaccine in Nigeria,” and organized in partnership with the Women’s Cancer Prevention and Support for African Society, a nonprofit community-based cancer organization in Nigeria, will be held via Zoom and reach people in all corners of Nigeria.
The lecture is scheduled to be led by Dr. Sakinat Tope Baiyewu (Ph.D.), an erudite public health expert and astute community health practitioner with over 15 years of experience in community health promotion and breast and cervical cancer control in Nigeria.
The event will include a question-and-answer session, breakout room discussions, and community feedback on HPV vaccine access, as well as community surveys and an HPV vaccine co-creation strategy.
Join us via Zoom here by 5 p.m. on February 2nd, 2022, for an exciting community engagement and contribution to cancer control in Nigeria.
