The new model of outreach developed by the organization focus on teachers in schools. Teachers are often disenfranchised from most beneficial health checks because of the nature of their work which mostly falls within the work hours of health workers in clinics and hospitals.
We are happy to have our first adopters which are teachers of Ijaiye Ojokoro Senior School and Ijaiye Ojokoro Junior School in Lagos.
On 7th of March 2021, teachers of the school were educated about breast and cervical cancer and it was immediately followed by screening session where they had breast and cervical cancer screening.
the visibly happy teachers expressed their gratitude to our staffs for the discounted price and the quality of the services provided. They also promised to refer other women to our center for the screening.
