August 21st, 2021 marked another day for our women when the good women of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Divine Parish, Akowonjo, played host to our staff for cancer education and screening outreach. Organized as part of their retreat, the women were offered a thrilling session of cancer prevention education by both Dr. Ola and Nurse Ayinuola, while breast self-examination was also demonstrated to them. Women were then offered cancer screening in a very serene and secluded apartment that ensured their privacy and dignity.
All women that needed follow-up services were duly counseled and reassured.
